Utility Improvements Road Closures | May 7-30

The intersection of Robert and Trudie Perkins Way and Wahnish Way will be closed due to utility improvements from Wednesday, May 7, to Friday, May 30. These road closures will affect the Moss (Weekday and Saturday), Dogwood (Weekday and Saturday), Night 5, and Sunday 5 routes.

The following bus stops will be impacted:

Bus stops #1017 (Across from 445 RT Perkins Way) and #1026 (RT Perkins Way and Wahnish Way)

Riders should use bus stops #2546 (RT Perkins Way and Cleveland Street) and #1008 (South MLK Jr. Boulevard and Palmer Street) instead.

Bus stops #1018 (444 RT Perkins Way), #1027 (RT Perkins Way and Wahnish Way), and #1028 (RT Perkins Way and Perry Street)

Riders should use bus stops #1007 (West Palmer Avenue and South MLK Jr. Boulevard) and #1030 (Gamble Street and South Disston Street) instead.

Bus stops #2408 (Wahnish Way near Bragg Memorial Stadium) and #2409 (Wahnish Way and RT Perkins Way)

Riders should use bus stop #1000 (RT Perkins Way and Osceola Street) instead.

C.K. Steele Bus Plaza Revitalization (Beginning Monday, May 12)

During this phase, the following temporary changes are in effect:

Gate 15 Relocation: All departures and arrivals at Gate 15 (Azalea and Route 1 Nights and Sundays heading westbound) have been temporarily moved to Gate 9.

Maclay Boulevard Sidewalk Construction (Ongoing through December 2026)

Beginning April 10, 2025, bus stop #555 (Maclay Boulevard and Maclay Commerce Drive) will be closed during the Maclay Boulevard sidewalk construction. This affects the weekday and Saturday Red Hills route.

Construction is anticipated to be completed in December 2026. Once construction is complete, bus stop #555 (Maclay Boulevard and Maclay Commerce Drive) will be relocated to the roundabout at Maclay Commerce Drive.

During construction, riders should use bus stop #557 (Maclay Boulevard and Market Street) or bus stop #554 (Village Square Boulevard) instead.

Carolina Street Construction (Ongoing)

The start of the Killearn route is detoured due to construction on Carolina Street.

Bus stop #576 (West Carolina Street and North Monroe Street) is impacted. Riders should navigate to C.K. Steele Bus Plaza instead.

Construction Detour

The southbound Moss route is on a temporary detour due to construction.

Bus stop #2491 (North Macomb Street at West Virginia Street) is impacted. Riders should use bus stop #120 (West Tennessee Street and North Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard) or bus stop #506 (North Macomb Street and West Brevard Street) instead.

Saint Augustine Street Construction (Ongoing)

The Forest and Tomahawk routes may be impacted by ongoing construction on Saint Augustine Street and detoured down Jefferson Street.

The following bus stops may be impacted:

Bus Stop #435 (Saint Augustine Street at Intramural Field)
Bus Stop #180 (Saint Augustine Street and Gay Street)

Riders should use Bus Stop #204 (Varsity Drive and Pensacola Street) or Bus Stop #364 (Jefferson Street @ Sweet Shop) instead.
